Awkwafina

Awkwafina is an American actor and musician who started her career through clever raps that tackled the issues of sexuality and race with a an edgy, comical perspective. Her career then grew into Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents within Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came via the trumpet. Later, she began the classical and hip-hop genres. When she was in high school, she concentrated on women's studies and journalism. She was also a student of Mandarin for a while in Beijing. It wasn't until after graduating that she turned her attention on music. After becoming famous via the Internet, her My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually was included on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included other popular hits, including the body positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC Bitche$1. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in the year 2015, and was an additional initiative. Following a career that was successful as a performer, she decided to take on the role of actor. Her film credits include films including Neighbors 2 Storks, and Bad Rap. The actress made headlines in 2018 with a few movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. It was in June that she released In Fina We Trust.
