Anita Barone

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham an executive chef, who was looking for Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member on Carol & Company, starring as Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone performed the role of the ex-wife of Carol Willick Ross Geller in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett took over her character after Barone left the show in order to concentrate on full-time work. She had a role on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 until 1996, and The War at Home 2005-2007. Barone was also a part of Daddio the sitcom which aired in 2000. Barone is also credited in television shows such as Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone won the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in the year 2004 for her role in the movie One Last Ride. Barone started her role as mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in 2010 - - three years after The War at Home concluded its run. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred in the role of J.J. Jones in two episodes.
